A named partner on every matter
Your engagement letter names the partner responsible for your matter. That partner takes the first call, settles the strategy and stays accountable for the work until the matter closes.
Partner review before advice leaves the firm
Opinions, pleadings and transaction documents are reviewed and signed off by the responsible partner before they reach you, a counterparty or a court.
Associates work under direct supervision
Associates research, draft and attend hearings under the partner who leads the matter. No matter is handed to a junior to run alone.
One point of contact
You deal with the same partner throughout. Where a matter needs another practice group, that partner brings the specialist in and keeps the advice joined up.

How a Matter Is Staffed

First conversation
A partner reviews your enquiry, runs a conflict check and speaks with you to understand the matter, its urgency and the commercial objective.

Engagement letter
We confirm the scope, the fee basis and the responsible partner in writing before any work begins.

The matter team
The partner assembles a team from the relevant practice group and adds colleagues from other groups where the matter calls for it: tax on a transaction, employment on a restructuring, IP on a technology deal.

Strategy in writing
For significant matters you receive a written note setting out the approach, the risks and the expected timeline, so both sides know what is being done and why.

Reporting and review
You get regular updates at an agreed frequency, and the partner reviews every piece of work before it goes out.
